It’s not really the purpose. Pursuing purpose feels good. There is a lot of momentum and excitement when we think about going after what we feel called to.

It’s the process part 👈🏾

The process of getting there. The tears and the shedding of the old person who we feel works well with what we’re given.

Yes, that process honestly doesn’t feel good, and it can make you second guess if you were meant to accomplish anything at all.

The truth is, it’s all part of the plan. It’s all working for your benefit. The good, the bad, and the ugly are all in alignment to get you where you’re meant to be.

Stay in purpose and, most importantly, stay IN the process. It will all pay off if you don’t give up.

Take a moment to pour out all that grieves you. Give your thoughts the space to be heard, but after it’s all said and done and the tears have dried, don’t forget to go back and speak the truth.

It’s not the emotions or the fear that make us. It’s our response to it.

It’s what we say after the problem persists.
It’s what we do when we see the giants in the land.

It’s how we see ourselves when we can’t seem to live up to our own expectations.

That’s when we get a pen and permanently etch out our vision of the things we hope for.

I got tired of pretending… ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Anyone want to be honest?🫠

I desired so much out of life and KEPT getting the bare minimum in every area:

✅ Relationships
✅ Financially
✅ Emotionally
✅ Spiritually

Every category of my life had a boring flavor and I just would see so many people living their best life and I would wonder:

❓What’s wrong with me, God?

❓Why won’t you bless me like you bless others?

❓Why do you make it easy for them and hard for me?

❓Why are these things happening to me AGAIN?

I was exhausted. I was overwhelmed. I was OVER IT. Something had to break, and I was tired of it being me. 💔

Then something happened 👇🏾

No, I didn’t win the lottery. In fact, nothing changed at all on the outside. I still had the same problems and no solutions

BUT something changed in me

I evolved.

I went from crying, “Woe is me.” ➡️
I’m still loved

I stopped calculating my failures and comparing my life to others, and started seeing the value of my own existence.

I started making better choices with my time.

I accepted my greatness and my weakness.

I FINALLY gave myself permission to prosper.

And I started WINNING 🏆
